Nkom gets application for permit for 26 GHz band

Norwegian electronic communications regulator Nkom said it has received an application for a permit for spectrum in the 26 GHz frequency band, which is ended for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint radio use. The band in question is a 28 MHz duplex channel with the frequencies 24857-24885 MHz and 25865-25893 MHz. The permit would be valid until 31 December 2019. The annual fee for 2015 is estimated at NOK 45,730. Any other parties interested in bidding for the spectrum should apply to Nkom by 13 November.
