Nkom monitoring finds no irregularities at Svalbard satellite stations

Norwegian telecoms regulator Nkom said it found no irregularities during its first check of Svalbard's satellite earth stations under the regulations that entered force on 01 May 2017. It said it examined the earth stations in Barentsburg, Ny Alesund, Longyearbyen and Hornsund. Its scrutiny included monitoring the stations' log regarding satellite and antennae usage.
