Nkom passes mobile termination fee cut proposals to ESA for approval

Norwegian communications service regulator Nkom said it is passing its proposal to cut mobile termination fees to the EFTA surveillance organisation, ESA, for authorisation. Under the proposal, the maximum price will drop on 01 March 2018 from the current level of 6.5 ore per minute or NOK 0.065, to 5.4 ore or NOK 0.054. The fee will fall again on 01 January 2019 to NOK 0.043 and then on 01 January 2020 to NOK 0.032.
