Nkom section chief joins eavesdropping committee

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said that Frank Stien, one of its section chiefs, has been appointed to the Committee for Communication Control. The committee of four permanent members and a secretariat with two employees is an independent body that checks that the police uses communications monitoring, eavesdropping and data readings within legal bounds.
