Nkom sees security risks in services from foreign countries

Norwegian telecoms regulator Nkom has published EkomRos 2017, its risk assessment for the sector. This year's report highlights to threats associated with lower national control of critical services production caused by increased dependency on functions provided overseas. It said authorities must play an active role and find a balance between allowing innovation on the one hand, and ensuring domestic control of network and service security on the other.
