Nkom still seeks bidders for 174-233 MHz broadcasting band

Electronic communications regulator Nkom said the concession and frequency permit for national broadcasting block number 3, in the frequency band 174-223 MHz, remains available. It said there were no expressions of interest in the block by the 13 June deadline. It said it is intended for DVB-T and if operators want to use it for other broadcasting services, they will have to fulfil certain requirements. The frequency permit runs until 31 December 2031.
