Nkom tells merged boroughs to re-register on WiFi4EU portal before applying in latest round

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said that applications open on 17 March for European Union subsidies for free public Wi-Fi hotspots under the WiFi4EU scheme. Boroughs that have merged this year must register again on the  WiFi4EU portal. Norway reorganised its administrative areas on 01 January 2020, reducing the number of counties from nineteen to eleven and the number of local councils from 422 to 356.
