Nkom tells Telenor to amend engineering works notice periods

Thursday 28 July 2016 | 12:04 CET | News
Norwegian electronic communications regulator Nkom said it is giving Telenor Norway until 01 September to bring its notice periods for engineering works on its grid into line with regulations. Under the operator access agreements (OA-avtalen), Telenor must give alternative operators' six months warning of network modernisation works as soon as they decide to carry out such works. It must also tell them three years in advance of when they plan to disconnect copper access lines and/or main connections.
