Nkom's Aarsaether gets apologies for derogatory comments

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom's assistant director Elisabeth Aarsaether has received apologies from three men who referred to her using a derogatory term for women at the Nkom conference in Lillesand on 09 June, Aftenposten reported on its website. Nkom CEO Torstein Olsen, Nkom network director Tor Helge Lyngstol and Secretary of state Reyner Johannesson have all apologised for calling her 'kjerring', which means an old woman and which has negative connotations.
