NoGIG reaches 2,000 customers using fibre-optic network

NoGIG, the fibre-optic infrastructure company from Lower Austria, reports 2,000 customers on its network, doubling the number reported in March. NoGIG is building public fibre infrastructure in regions of Lower Austria that can then be used by providers for their respective services for individual customers and businesses. The company is running pilot projects in four regions of Lower Austria, namely Waldviertel Stadtland, Zukunftsraum Thayaland, Ybbstal-Eisenstrasse and Triestingtal.
