Nokia Networks to acquire SAC Wireless

Wednesday 2 July 2014 | 19:16 CET | News
Nokia Networks has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire SAC Wireless, a self-performing provider of infrastructure and network deployment services. Nokia Networks expects to close the transaction in the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. SAC Wireless' resources, including approximately 450 employees, and expertise complement Nokia Networks' in-house capabilities to self-perform typically sub-contracted services. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed.
