Nokia provides 5G equipment for SoftBank connected car tests at Honda R&D site

Nokia said it has provided 5G equipment to SoftBank for connected vehicle testing at a Honda Research and Development site in Kamikawa-gun in Hokkaido. This led to the world's first trial towards deployment of Nokia's 3GPP Release 15 compliant equipment with commercial level 256QAM, high-order modulation and 4x4 MIMO radio kit.
