Nokia provides A1 with industrial wireless network for Siemens microgrid in Vienna

Nokia has signed a partnership agreement with Austrian operator A1 to provide a private wireless network for a Siemens microgrid. Microgrids produce electricity cost-effectively and sustainably using energy sources including photovoltaic and wind power, hydro-power and biomass power. A1 is providing spectrum for the industrial wireless network along with hosting and management services.
