Nokia to showcase LTE-Advanced Pro tech at MWC

Nokia has announced that it will be demonstrating the latest advances in LTE Advanced and LTE-Advanced Pro technologies at Mobile World Congress 2016. The industry firsts to be showcased at MWC include 3D Beamforming and 8x4 Intelligent Beamforming, inter-site carrier aggregation capabilities and carrier aggregation combined with advanced modulation to triple uplink data rates. Nokia said the innovations will allow operators to support more users without having to deploy additional base stations, and improve the customer experience by increasing throughput across a cell's coverage area.
