Nokia to showcase new small cell innovations at MWC

Wednesday 27 January 2016 | 09:44 CET | News
Nokia has added a range of innovations to its small cells portfolio. The company describes its Nokia Flexi Zone Mini-Macro Base Station as compact and easy to deploy as a small cell, delivering 2x20W power so that operators can quickly and cost effectively fill coverage holes. Other innovations launched for Mobile World Congress 2016 include support for LTE-Advanced Pro LWA capabilities integrated into small cells so that unlicensed spectrum can deliver very high data rates to subscribers, and new synchronization options delivering significant reductions in small cell deployment costs.
