Nokia's 4G/5G network slicing powers Orange deployment for Schneider Electric

Nokia and Orange have released more details of the 4G/5G private network built at Schneider Electric's plant in Le Vaudreuil (Normandy). The project was unveiled last year, when Orange described it as the first trial of an indoor 5G network in a French factory. The deployment relies on Nokia's network slicing equipment, featuring the management, controller and orchestration capabilities announced by the Finnish group in October 2020. This enables continuity between LTE and 5G NR (New Radio) and ensures that the new network slicing services can be accessed by all end-users equipped with LTE or
