Nordic PC sales set to drop 4.2% in 2018

Sales of personal computers in the Nordic region are expected to fall by 4.2 percent year on year to 7.4 million shipments in 2018, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). The figures cover desktop, notebook and workstation computers as well as slate and detachable tablets in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are predicted to drive the market in 2018 in a renewal wave, with education as a second engnine in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
