NordNet launches triple-play service, 10 Mbps downloads

France Telecom-Orange subsidiary NordNet has signed agreements with Eutelsat Communications' Skylogic affiliate and rival satellite operator SES to be able to launch triple play services delivering 10 Mbps download speeds for French consumers and businesses. NordNet previously increased its download speeds to 6 Mbps in June 2011. The ISP uses Eutelsat's Tooway satellite broadband service and Astra2Connnect. Its new triple-play service, called the Turbo-10 range, starts at EUR 34.90 a month. The range comprises the NordNetBox Tentation pack with two DECT phones and one hour of calls to French
