Norid makes .no domain names open to private individuals

Norwegian postal and telecoms regulator PT said that from 17 June, anyone in Norway will be able to register their own domain name directly with a 'dot no' suffix. Previously, only businesses and other organisations have been able to do so. Individuals have had to register under 'priv.no'. This follows a consultation by the .no suffix provider, Uninett Norid.
