North Brabant cities to create regional network for social services

The province of North Brabant in the Netherlands and local cities have agreed to partner on a new fibre network for local organisations to deliver digital services in the region. The BrabantRing will build on existing infrastructure and connect its own network equipment to provide a secure regional network. The independent, open network will ensure a secure connection between participating organisations and the local population, to deliver important services such as healthcare, education and traffic management.
