North of Tyne Combined Authority bids for UK govt full fibre funding

The North of Tyne Combined Authority has announced plans to bid for GBP 12 million of UK Government funding for ultrafast fibre broadband. Cabinet members will be asked to commit GBP 100,000 to help develop a bid for money from the government's Local Full Fibre Networks Challenge Fund.
