North Rhine-Westphalia police to receive 20,000 iPhone 8 smartphones

The police in North Rhine-Westphalia will be equipped with 20,000 iPhone 8 smartphones by spring 2020 to be able to communicate and access internal databases through apps while in service. Every operative policeman in the state will have access to devices either as personal equipment or as part of a pool of devices.
