Northern cable operators top Spanish Netflix speed index

Spain's three northern broadband operators – Euskaltel (Basque Country), Telecable (Asturias), and R (Galicia) – have again topped the Spanish ISP speed index published by Netflix. The three operators delivered prime-time speeds of 3.98 Mbps, 3.93 Mbps and 3.80 Mbps respectively in February, slightly down on their previous figures. These were followed by the national operators Jazztel (3.73 Mbps), Vodafone (3.68 Mbps), Ono (3.67 Mbps) and Orange (3.63 Mbps). Movistar (Telefonica) continued to post the lowest average speed – offering an average prime-time speed of 2.45 Mbps, according to
