NortonLifeLock lifts profit despite revenue dip in Q4, sees sequentially lower Q1

Cyber safety specialist NortonLifeLock reported lower revenues for its fiscal fourth quarter to 3 April but a much higher profit, even if lower sequentially. Revenues for the quarter slipped to USD 614 million from 617 million the year before while diluted earnings per share jumped to USD 0.23 from 0.06. Adjusted diluted EPS increased to USD 0.26 form 0.16. Consumer revenue went up 1 percent in constant currency to USD 610 million while consumer billings grew 3 percent. ARPU also went 3 percent higher, to USD 9.07. Finally, the company will distribute a dividend of USD 0.0125 per share.
