Norway authorised providers of network installation and maintenance rise 50% in 2019

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said the monitoring it started last year of providers of telecoms infrastructure installation and maintenance resulted in a rise of more than 50 percent in the number authorised providers from 2018 to 2019. The watchdog found a number of providers who lacked authorisation, even though they employed qualified, skilled staff. It helped them with the application procedure.
