Norway govt publishes cross-border digital spying proposals

The Norwegian Ministry of Defence has published a report by the Lysne II committee, which recommends that the intelligence service (E-tjenesten) should monitor telecoms and data traffic that crosses Norway's borders. The details of the committee's proposals for the Digital Border Defence (DGF) are contained in chapter 9 of the 89-page document. DGF would extend to analysing content as well as traffic information.
