Norway opens applications for broadband coverage grants

Tuesday 23 February 2016 | 13:25 CET | News
Norwegian regulator Nkom has started accepting applications for grants to improve broadband coverage in underserved areas. The government has allocated NOK 126.5 million this year for helping to ensure all Norwegian households can access a quality broadband service. The public funds will target areas that operators do not find it profitable to develop their networks. Municpalities and counties can apply for the grants until 10 May.
