Norway PT expects to hold 1800 MHz auction on 26 January

Wednesday 2 July 2014 | 12:51 CET | News
The Norwegian postal and telecoms regulator PT said it has decided to sell three blocks of frequencies in the 1710-1725 MHz and 1805-1820 MHz bands (2 x 15 MHz) in a multiple-round auction. This is spectrum that was not allocated in last year's auction. The matter had been put out for consultation from 03 April to 02 May. Copenhagen Economics has been appointed as consultant. Block one covers 1710-1715 MHz and 1805-1810 MHz; block two covers 1715-1720 MHz and 1810-1815 MHz; block three covers 1720-1725 MHz and 1815-1820 MHz.
