Norway PT says emergency number reachable without signal

Norwegian postal and telecoms regulator PT has published a reminder that the 112 emergency services number can be reached even if one a mobile handset is showing no signal from the user's normal provider. It said providing one of the other two networks in Norway has reception, then the emergency number should be reachable. In some cases, it may be necessary to remove the SIM card in order to dial 112.
