Norwegian electricity customers must pay NOK 2,000 yearly for declining smart meters

NTE customers will have to pay the company NOK 2,000 each for refusing to have smart electricity meters installed, according to regional newspaper Tronder-Avisa. It said 300 customers have declined to have the devices put in their properties, citing fears of radiation.
