Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee brings in new standards for telecoms connections

The Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee (NEK) has published a new standard called NEK 399 for connecting end-user equipment for electricity supply and electronic communications to the public network. It replaces a standard drawn up in 2014 and covers requirements for connection nodes and for the various parties' responsibilities and obligations. The aim is to ensure effective cooperation, predictability and standardisation.
