Norwegian govt gives local councils NOK 5 mln to offer digital skills training to public

The Norwegian Municipal and Modernisation Ministry said it will grant NOK 5 million in one-off financing to 36 borough councils to provide digital training to local residents. Older people, the unemployed and immigrants tend to lag behind others in terms of IT skills, said Minister for Digitisation Nikolai Astrup.
