Norwegian govt plans to improve transport through technology

The Norwegian Ministry for Transport and communication said that minister Ketil Solvik-Olsen has held his first meeting with Norway's new Mobility and Technology Council and set out the key points of a new IT strategy for the transport sector. Solvik-Olsen said new technology will radically change the sector, making trips easier, improving safety, cutting costs, shortening journeys and cutting the burden on the environment.
