Norwegian govt provides NOK 500,000 to expand capacity of Seniornett helpline during virus

The Norwegian government said it is granting an extra NOK 500,000 to Seniornett, an organisation that helps older people to get online. The funding will enable it to increase the capacity of its telephone hotline while Seniornett's local groups are prevented by the coronavirus from carrying out their normal work. The government said the epidemic has made elderly people more dependent on the internet to keep in touch with the outside world.
