Norwegian H1 residential gigabit access rises 22 percentage points, below 1,000 homes lack 10 Mbps service

There was a strong rise in access to gigabit broadband in Norway in the first half of 2019, according to a report commissioned from Analysys Mason by Nkom. The strong spread of fibre means that 63 percent of homes have the option to connect to a 1 Gbps network, a rise of 22 percentage points in one year. Meanwhile, there are fewer than 1,000 homes in Norway without access to broadband at a minimum of 10 Mbps.
