Norwegian passenger trains to get better 4G coverage

Tuesday 17 March 2015 | 22:47 CET | News
Norwegian passenger trains are to be provided with better 4G coverage along the busiest routes, according to state railway operator NSB, national railway administration Jernbaneverket, and telecommunications operator Telenor. The first improvements will be around Oslo and Stavanger. Telenor coverage director Bjorn Amundsen said this will benefit commuters by enabling them to work without any interruption on their way to their job. Reception in tunnels will be improved, too.
