Norwegian walkie-talkie permit applications must be done via Altinn e-govt platform from June

Tuesday 27 April 2021 | 12:35 CET | News
Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said that from 01 June 2021, it will only accept applications for Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) use via the Altinn electronic government portal. It will no longer accept applications via letter or e-mail, it added, claiming that Altinn is quicker and easier. Nkom began taking applications for PMR, also known as walkie-talkies or two-way radio, online some years ago and says it will reject any applications made on paper or via electronic mail.
