Norwegian watchdog issues 2014 frequency management plan

Wednesday 8 January 2014 | 12:01 CET | News
Norwegian postal and telecommunications regulator PT has published a thirteen-page document on its frequency management plans for 2014. It says it will update the national frequency plan at least twice a year, for example, to bring it in line with the EU or European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications (CEPT). It will consider the delegation of spectrum in the 1452-1492 MHz band, and will allocate frequencies in the 790-862 MHz band for offshore usage. It will study the management of the 3600-3800 MHz band and prepare for a public consultation.
