Nos CEO warns blocking Huawei will delay 5G in Europe

The CEO of Portuguese operator Nos, Miguel de Almeida, has warned that if Europe decides to block the use of Huawei equipment for 5G networks, this could result in a delay of at least two years for the roll-out of 5G, reports Jornal Economico. He pointed out that Nos is not aware of any security problem with Huawei, adding that if Europe takes a decision "on the basis of evidence that does not exist," it will be the European countries that will suffer from the delay. He also said that the operator's latest generation network is 100 percent "5G ready" and that in the coming weeks it will
