Nos parent interested in Portugal Telecom assets

The parent company of Portuguese operator Nos has said it is "ready to be part of the solution" to keep the assets of Portugal Telecom in Portuguese hands, following a EUR 7 billion made by Altice, reports Reuters. Zopt, the controlling shareholder of Nos, which is the second largest telecom operator in Portugal, is owned by local conglomerate Sonae and Isabel dos Santos, daughter of the president of Angola.
