Nos stops offering Wap Billing to new customers

Portuguese operator Nos has ceased providing services via Wap Billing, with the aim of reinforcing protection of its customers and transparency of services. Wap Billing allows customers with an active mobile phone and services to pay for services and digital content from third parties through web pages. This service has been prone to fraud by third parties who have caused damage to Nos customers, even though the operator always reacted by deactivating fraudulent subscriptions and returning the sum unduly charged.
