Nos to provide Benfica matches to all operators

Friday 11 December 2015 | 10:09 CET | News
Portuguese operator Nos has yet to decide how it will show the matches of the Benfica football club, for which it recently acquired the exclusive TV rights. However, Jornal de Negocios reports that CEO Miguel Almeida said the intention is to provide access to the matches and distribute the BTV club channel to all operators interested. He also provided assurances that subscribers would end up paying less to watch Portuguese league football matches. Currently, football fans who want to watch all matches have to subscribe to Sport TV (EUR 26.79) and BTV (EUR 9.90).
