Now TV raises basic subscription price to GBP 8 a month

UK sVOD service Now TV, owned by Sky, is increasing the price of its basic service to GBP 7.99 per month from 15 August. The GBP 1 per month price increase only applies for standalone subscribers to the Now TV Entertainment Pass and not to customers who bundle the service with broadband. Customers can still profit from a 14-day free trail and month-to-month contracts. The pass comes with live access to 11 premium TV channels as well as a wide range of VoD content.
