NTT Com develops AI-based cognitive agent for contact center

NTT Communications (NTT Com), the global data and IP services arm of NTT Group, in partnership with US-based IPsoft, a provider of automated services for IT and business operations, will launch an automated cognitive agent service for natural conversation support from the summer of 2016. The service will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to interact with customers, in English and Japanese, and learn from experiences to upgrade the quality of its automated service.
