NTT Com to boost network capacity in Myanmar

NTT Communications is planning to boost the capacity of its network in Myanmar ten-fold, as early as this month, writes The Nikkei. NTT Com intends to extend two international lines, used by corporate clients for their local area networks, via Thailand and Hong Kong/Singapore to Myanmar. It already has an undersea cable in place connecting Malaysia and Myanmar. Plans call for eventually bringing the capacity of the network up to par with the rest of Southeast Asia.
