NTT Docomo, Altair to demo CAT-1 LTE eDRX on IoT devices

LTE chipset provider Altair Semiconductor has partnered with Japanese operator NTT Docomo to demonstrate ultra-low-power consumption using LTE extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) functionality on CAT-1 devices. The collaboration will also include Altair's participation in the Docomo R&D Open House 2016 that takes place on 17 and 18 November at Docomo's R&D Center in Japan.
