NTT Docomo invests in semiconductor, software design firm ArchiTek

NTT Docomo Ventures has invested in ArchiTek, a Japan-based company specialized in semiconductor circuit and software design for AI and image processing. NTT Docomo Ventures, through its fund, has acquired the stocks of ArchiTek, which implemented third-party allocation. ArchiTek's service features an IP core and LSI design using a small-sized LSI to enable AI processing for image analytics and deep learning. The service can be utilized in edge computing (such as IoT devices). No financial details related to the investment have been released.
