NTT Docomo sees H1 profit jump 28%, raises FY targets

In the fiscal first half to September 2016, Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo reported revenues up 3.3 percent year-on-year to JPY 2.288 trillion, while operating profit increased to JPY 585.6 billion, up 26.6 percent from a year ago. The EBITDA margin in H1 improved to 35.9 percent from 34.8 a year ago, and net profit for the first half jumped by 27.8 percent to JPY 405.4 billion from JPY 317.1 billion a year earlier.
