NTT Docomo to slash mobile phone fees by up to 40%

Japanese operator NTT Docomo has announced it will reduce its mobile phone charges by up to 40 percent in June, following the government's call on operators to cut service fees, The Japan Times reports. Docomo plans to launch two basic service plans, available for monthly fees of JPY 5,980 for unlimited data and JPY 1,980 for limited data.
