NTT Docomo Ventures invests in Light Field Lab

Japan's NTT Docomo Ventures has invested in US-headquartered Light Field Lab, a developer of display technology that enables holographic objects to float in space without head-mounted accessories. Docomo expects its investment in Light Field Lab to enable both NTT Group that develops VR/AR and 5G services, and Light Field Lab to accelerate the development of products and services. No financial details related to the transaction have been disclosed.
